Job Description You will contribute to the production and maintenance of electronics for the quench detection system. This includes component ordering, production preparation, soldering and interventions on our installations. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job. Your responsibilities: - Prepare production of electronics prototypes. - Purchasing of electronics components. - Installation of electronics in test benches and racks. - Soldering/assembly work on prototypes. - Cable/connector assembly. Skills: - Experience with electronics assembly. - Experience with soldering (Hand soldering and/or reflow) would be an asset. - Knowledge about electronics components - Mechanics assembly skills for crates - Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French. Eligibility criteria: - You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State . - By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electronics technician (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma . - You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before. - Applicants with a Bache...
