POSITION SPECIFICS: Title: Radiological Technologist: FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week): Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm: Holiday Rotation: N/A: Weekend Rotation: N/A: On Call Requirements: N/A: POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Radiologic Technologist performs radiology procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision but does require good judgment. Operates ionizing radiation equipment using ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed protocols related to radiology technology for the diagnosis of various diseases. Assumes responsibility for coordinating procedures, quality assurance and record keeping as related to departmental policy, radiation safety and attending to the patient's needs. POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform duties in compliance with regulatory requirements, ie: HFAP, TJC, Wisconsin Administrative Codes, OSHA, CMS/Medicare, etc, as well as department-specific requirements.
