Job description

Staff Engineer AEO Employment Services CO LLC seeks a Staff Engineer to develop global e-commerce applications. Duties include: (i) designing and developing backend apps using Java/JDK8, Spring Boot and ATG; (ii) leading full-cycle implementation and performance tuning of e-commerce site development and web applications; (iii) conducting software testing, validation and enforce coding standards; (iv) improving existing software and adapt new hardware; (v) providing on-call support and resolve issues; and (vi) migrating legacy applications to cloud-native applications. This is a remote position; the employee can live anywhere in the United States. Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related IT position. Experience must include five (5) years working with: (i) Java/JDK8 to develop e-commerce software applications; (ii) ATG e-Commerce framework; and (iii) all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting retail ap...
