Description The High School Counselor provides Christ-centered, biblically grounded counseling to students. This role supports students in making righteous decisions in relation to their spiritual, educational, and occupational lives. The counselor fosters a student’s growth in their personal relationship while promoting mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness in the Lord while ultimately helping students discover the Lord’s calling in their lives. Requirements: Responsibilities: Counseling Services - A vibrant and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, with a clear Christian testimony. - A Christian role model who follows biblical principles in attitude, speech, and actions towards others. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. - Masters degree in counseling - Counseling Certification preferred - A minimum of three years experience counseling in a school setting - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Provide counseling that will lead each student to increased emotional and spiritual growth/maturity. - Take an active role in interpreting the school’s mission and...
