Overview NaphCare is hiring a Medical Scheduler/Records Clerk to join our team of medical professionals at our Corporate headquarters in Birmingham, Al where we manage healthcare services for the residents in security federal correctional institutions.. This position will be remote, however candidates will need to be available to travel to the prison if needed for meetings. Candidates must live within a 1-hour commute of Birmingham. As a Correctional Medical Scheduler/Records Clerk , you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide counseling and mental health care to schedule healthcare appointments for the inmates on and off-site. This is a unique and interesting position where security is paramount, and the days are never dull. Responsibilities: The Medical Scheduler will schedule appointments and maintain the medical records for all BOP medical appointments on and off-site.
