Senior Bridge Engineer

Job description

BG&E is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Perth Bridges team in a role focused on the assessment, management, maintenance, and renewal of existing bridges and related structures. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced structural engineer, typically with around 7 to 15 years of experience, who enjoys applying engineering judgement to existing infrastructure. The role will suit someone with strong capability in condition assessment, structural assessment, load rating, maintenance design, repair and strengthening, and who is interested in playing a key role in the continued growth of BG&E’s bridge inspection and asset management capability. While the role is primarily focused on existing assets, there will also be opportunities to contribute to the design of new bridge and civil structures, and to the assessment of non-bridge structures across our transport, water, rail, local government, and resources-sector clients.
