Job No: 552885; 11/06/2025 ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER (4 POSITIONS AVAILABLE): Athletic Trainer I Athletics Department Salary Range: $25.86 - $37.67/Hourly (Budgeted Hiring Salary $27.44/Hourly) Work Schedule: Part-Time, Sunday – Saturday, hours vary; temporary appointment, expires on or before June 30, 2026; may be extended; non-exempt classification. Essential Functions: Under general supervision, incumbent performs the full range of clinical athletic training functions, which involves the planning, organization, and delivery of daily athletic training services to students involved in athletics. The incumbent will: prevent, recognize, and assess athletic injuries; implement preventive and rehabilitation programs to treat athletic injuries using the appropriate therapeutic modalities and treatments; consult with more senior athletic trainers, physicians, and other health professionals on injuries and treatment plans and coordinate with the coaching staff; inform coaching staff and other health professionals on the status of injuries and treatment plans; use a variety of therapeutic modalities in accordance with physician orders; advise students on how to prevent injuries and maint...
