Diesel Technician Lead - Second Shift

Position Summary The Lead Diesel Technician performs major mechanical repairs with minimal supervision to ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles and equipment; makes all repairs in a safe, cost effective and time efficient manner. The Lead Technician will prioritize, delegate, train and instruct other technicians to ensure repairs are being done in a safe manner and is responsible for active participation in the company’s progress with the career paths program and help technicians to move up in their careers. Hiring Range: $35-$45/ hour: Key Responsibilities: - Schedules, implements, and maintains a preventative Maintenance program for all vehicles and equipment at the division. - Directs, trains, and oversees technicians to ensure all jobs are done with safety as a top priority. - Ensures optimum performance and productivity in every vehicle, perform and/or direct the performance of adjustments, inspection or rebuild of all mechanical components and systems at the division. - Guarantees complete and accurate documentation of vehicle repair and maintenance history by establishing and maintaining Transman program for every vehicle. - Performs regular and ongoing operationa...
