Overview Opportunity: Parking Attendant: Greet and assist guests parking in hotel parking lot and collect payment of parking fees in accordance with established guest service and cash handling standards. Potential Career Path: Porter – Valet or Bell person – Bell Captain Essential Job Functions: - Monitor parking lot and assist in directing guests to available spots. - Monitor safety and security of parking lot and report any issues or concerns to hotel management, security and/or law enforcement as necessary. - Collect payment for parking services in compliance with established cash handling and accounting procedures. - Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, collecting and disposing of trash and maintaining and cleaning surfaces. - Count bank at end of shift, complete necessary documentation, resolve any discrepancies, and secure bank in accordance with established policies and procedures. - Assist guests or refer guests to necessary associates for help with any questions or requests. - Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program. - Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. - Perform othe...
