Position Summary: The Lead Forklift Operator is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor lead a team of associates to achieve a variety of goals that include productivity, outstanding quality/customer service, maintaining a safe work environment, and employee relations (keeping moral high). Responsibilities: Function as the team lead when supervisor is not present by answering employee questions, troubleshooting problems, and promoting efficient operations. Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment. Directs and coordinates the activities of the warehouse operators in loading and unloading trucks and proper handling of various products. Assists warehouse operators when needed to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Assists in training new and current operators.
