Pandey, MD - Assistant Professor Position Location: Biology of Aging Laboratory / Tulane University School of Medicine, 1430 Tulane Avenue, New Orleans LA 70112 Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM but can be flexible depending on needs and circumstances POSITION SUMMARY: A postdoctoral position is available investigating genetic/epigenetic control of cardiac and vascular senescence. We are seeking a postdoc with a strong background in molecular biology, imaging, animal work, and biochemistry. Prior experience with laboratory mouse and rat models is required and experience with pig models would be beneficial. The postdoc will be responsible for projects involving cardiac fibrosis and senescence. Epigenetic regulation of fibrosis will also be a focus. Tasks include experimental design, animal model development, siRNA assays, data interpretation, and manuscript writing.
