Mechanical Engineer - Intern

Winpak Lane is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join their team, based out of our facility in Rialto, CA. As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you’ll play an active role in bringing projects to life—developing detailed drawing packages and layouts, and collaborating across disciplines to coordinate equipment and component designs. You’ll also have the opportunity to support engineers, designers, and drafters on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real-world engineering work. Education: - Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering - Preferably an undergraduate expecting to graduate by 2 nd quarter of 2024 Qualifications: - Basic knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints. - Team player with strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently. - Experience using SolidWorks and Autodesk products. - Ability to interpret and apply guide lines from various sources including but not limited to the FDA, USDA, 3A, Code of Federal Regulations, CSA, and EU/CE directives and harmonized standards. - Excellent verbal and written communication, excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Exce...
