Technician/Chemist/Engineer to Centra Analytical Hub - DTU Chemical Engineering

Job description

We are looking for a high-level technician or a chemist or an engineer with solid background and specialization in instrumental chemical analysis. Our ambition is to develop a central analytical hub serving teaching activities in the Department as well as research activities across the different research units and you will have an instrumental role in this challenging and versatile task. Responsibilities and Tasks: You will: - Support in developing and maintaining a wide array of chromatographic and spectroscopic separations for chemical and biochemical processes. - Support in developing and maintaining a wide array of methods for biomass and materials characterization within biotechnology, catalytic, polymer and physical chemistry. - Support in developing analytical and sample preparation protocols. - Develop, maintain and update a database for all analytical methodologies of the hub. - Supervise the operation of and maintain the analytical units of the hub and monitor the use of equipment. - Train project students and new employees on sample preparation, protocols and use of equipment. - Ensure a smooth, uniform and reproducible analytical experience.
