Job description

Winpak is seeking a Floater to join their Shipping Department based out of Winnipeg on 8-hour rotating shift. In this role you will support all areas of Shipping Department, handle materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner and provide coverage in assigned areas on all shifts as directed by the supervisor. Key Responsibilities: - Provide operational support across Shipping, Recycling, and Receiving. Responsibilities include picking and preparing orders, loading outbound trailers, supporting recycling efforts throughout the facility, unloading inbound trailers, and staging incoming materials for processing. - Support the on-site storage of ABI material at Winpak and act as a liaison for material transfers. - Complete weekly safety inspections of designated areas. - Operate lift trucks in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations. - Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and complete required checklists. - Maintain cleanliness of designated areas in accordance with housekeeping standards and update audit sheets upon completion. - Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication across departments while supporting Winpak’s TQI program. - Accu...
