Downer is seeking an experienced Asphalt Surfacing Manager based in Lismore, NSW. In this pivotal leadership role you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance and sustainable growth across our asphalt and surfacing business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Drive business performance, including P&L accountability and budget delivery. - Identify and secure new business opportunities and profitable growth pathways. - Oversee tendering, contract management, and project delivery. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders. - Lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve operational and strategic objectives. - Develop and execute short- to mid-term business plans. - Lead and champion a Zero Harm safety culture across all operations.
