Job Details: *Highly encouraged to submit a resume* SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the evaluation of pedigree candidates for meat yield and other traits that are developed using CT technology. This position will work with the Cobb R&D team and the CT supplier to develop new traits related to carcass yield and health traits. This position will be responsible for monitoring supplies used in the processes involved, cleaning and maintenance of computers and other equipment, attending mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, and following all protocols for the safe use of the equipment. For success, the technician should be compassionate towards the birds in their handling throughout an efficient evaluation process. This position will also be responsible for managing birds within the CT facility, including feeding, loading out, keeping the area clean and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Requires knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment and business practices.
