Direct Support Professional (DSP) – In Home & Community Support Myerstown, PA: $19.50/HR | Flexible Weekly Schedule Abound Health is seeking a skilled, patient, and behavior-savvy Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a young woman in the Myerstown area diagnosed with Mild Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She lives primarily with her mother and spends every other week with her father. Her weekly schedule alternates based on which home she is staying in. This role is ideal for a DSP who is confident, calm under pressure, and experienced in supporting individuals with behavioral needs. A minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience is required. Family is extremely important to her, and she is working toward greater independence. She thrives with structure, predictability, and a DSP who can support her without labeling her needs as “behavioral support,” as this term makes her uncomfortable.
