Occupational Therapist

Job description

We are looking for a talented part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for the school year. This OT will work approximately 16 hours per week at one school and 8 hours at another school approximately 5 minutes away for a total of 28 hours per week. Hourly Rate Range : $44.00-$56.00 per hour Responsibilities will include: - Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs. - Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional and developmental levels. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student’s unique needs. - Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom. - Document student progress, therapy sessions, and maintain compliance with state and federal documentation requirements. - Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills. - Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences. - Provide training and resources to school staff to support students’ access to curriculum and participation in school routines. - Ensure compliance with IDEA, Ohio Department of Education...
