R&D Specialist III YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This role works closely with the Genomics & Sequencing team to deliver daily and weekly sequencing targets under defined timelines. The position is responsible for generating high‑quality sequencing data for biotech workflows, managing sample organization and tracking, and operating automation to support routine sequencing runs. The role also involves performing experiments, applying specialized scientific techniques, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and staying current with advances in the field. The primary responsibilities of this role, R&D Specialist III, are to: - Operate Illumina and other NGS instruments with high technical accuracy, ensuring reliable, high‑throughput sequencing supported by proper sample organization and LIMS tracking; - Execute automated and manual sequencing workflows, troubleshoot instrument and process issues, and apply strong laboratory and sequencing expertise to maintain consistent, high‑quality results; - Work primarily in the laboratory (≈80%) and participate in weekend sequencing run coverage (typically one weekend per month); - Follow all SOPs, quality standards, safety require...
