Job description

Amentum is seeking a Software Laboratory Senior IT Specialist to support our team in Dahlgren, VA. Strong candidates will be able to provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Typically requires specialization in particular software or business application utilized in an end user environment. Responsibilities include: Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications. Provides technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
