Metrology Tooling Mechanic Company: Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) has an exciting opportunity for a Metrology Tooling Mechanic to support our team in Berkeley, MO ! The selected candidates apply knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics, and electronics to calibrate inspection, measurement and test equipment. Position Responsibilities: - Perform calibration and testing of precision measuring instruments according to established internal procedures as well as industry standards and specifications - Fabricate and modify calibration fixtures as needed to ensure accurate measurements - Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate other instruments and test equipment - Measures parts for conformity with specifications using measuring standards - Analysis and interpretation of testing result data - Identifies out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action - Repair of equipment as necessary - Competency with calibration software - Preparing calibration reports and certificates - Ensure traceability of each calibration through clear and precise documentation - Maintain calibration records and documentation in complianc...
