Description The Department of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position, open rank, to begin July 1, 2026 whose scholarly focus is in the area(s) of adult clinical and caregiver well-being. Applicants who focus on the mental health of caregivers, including family members who support adults experiencing cognitive decline due to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, traumatic brain injury, and other diseases characterized by cognitive decline are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants are encouraged to indicate how their work might complement existing areas of strength in the department. A Ph.D. in Psychology is required by the time of appointment, with a requirement to acquire licensure in Ohio. The department offers a Ph.D. program in clinical psychology, in both child and adult areas, is highly competitive, and has been continually accredited since 1948. This position is part of six new faculty lines to be added as a result of an exciting $60 million investment to help address the growing mental health crisis within and beyond Northeast Ohio.
