Job Description & Responsibilities Persistent Systems is looking for a talented Hardware Engineer with extensive experience in circuit design for battery powered and high-speed (Ghz) digital devices. The position involves the design, development, and prototyping of electronic assemblies for next generation products and/or upgrades to current products. Responsibilities also include developing documentation, testing, and technical support to manufacturing. Position Responsibilities: - Define system and circuit level requirements - Design circuits, perform analysis/simulations, and create schematics/BOMs - Identify all necessary components and equipment to support the product design process - Perform PCB stack-up design, layout and routing, and generation of the full manufacturing file package to build circuit board prototypes. - Interface with Mechanical Engineering to ensure all packaging and thermal constraints are met - Establish hardware and software test environments and infrastructure - Develop the concept prototypes and conduct DVT to verify system performance - Provide technical leadership for projects developed by sub-contractors - Ensure tasks are delivered on time and with...
