Electric - T&D Department: Electric T&D Operations: Reports to: Supervisor - Electric Operations Location: In Office , Orange CT The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $96,400 - $120,500 Job Summary: The engineer will review, analyze, and coordinate moderate to complex planned construction projects, maintenance requirements and responses to system disturbances related to the operation of the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) System. Approve planned outages and clearance requests. Coordinate work with other departments within UI and other outside system operators (e.g., ISO, CONVEX, NUSCO). Work is to be completed with minimal guidance. The incumbent must be available for on call, as necessary. Key Responsibilities: Perform moderately complex system analyses, design and calculations using std methodology & principles & other viable approaches. Develop alternate methods or design concepts to resolve problems or to improve processes/services. Solves moderately complex system operating problems.
