Your role in our mission We are seeking a talented senior product and regulatory lawyer to join our legal department. This role will report to the General Counsel. You will join a fast-paced, collegial, and innovative team, providing legal counsel to Prosper's product, business and operations teams, and leading the borrower-side of the business. How you'll make an impact: Skills that will help you thrive - Serve as a senior advisor to the business on legal issues relating to our consumer platforms and general operations. - Lead the borrower-side legal team and provide advice to senior leaders regarding our personal loan and credit card programs - Work closely with Prosper’s product and technology team, advising on the development of new products and services. - Work alongside Prosper's Compliance team to design, develop and maintain processes and procedures. - Manage, review and update policies and legal agreements related to Prosper’s consumer platforms. - Manage litigation related to the operation of Prosper’s consumer platforms. - Represent Prosper with state and federal regulators; manage any enforcement actions, inquiries and investigations. - Support the General Counsel in Pr...
