About This Opportunity We are seeking a diligent and organised Research Assistant to support high‑impact, Indigenous‑led research within the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research (FNCWR) Program, based in the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine. Working within a collaborative, purposeful and culturally grounded team environment, this role supports research that aims to improve cancer outcomes and the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through respectful partnerships, co‑design and community‑driven methodologies. The Program is supported by major competitive funding and offers the opportunity to contribute to work that creates meaningful change together. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting qualitative research activities, including organising and co‑facilitating interviews and Yarning Circles, and assisting with data collection and analysis. Managing research databases, undertaking literature searches, and supporting data management and analysis under the guidance of senior researchers.
