International Trainees for the Doctoral Education team

Job description

The University of Helsinki Trainee Programme for International Master Students is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme. We are looking for four (4) trainees for the Doctoral Education team. Your main task as a trainee is supporting the development and implementation of the Doctoral Education Pilot. University of Helsinki employs 236 doctoral researchers in the Doctoral Education Pilot, who have started their studies in the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. The Doctoral Education team develops and organizes common activities and support mechanisms for doctoral researchers. As a trainee in the team, you will participate in the day-to-day administrative tasks, support for the doctoral researchers and the doctoral education team. For example, you will assist the team to organise and participate in Doctoral Education Base Camps at the at the University’s research stations in Tvärminne, Hyytiälä, and/or Lammi. These events are designed to give a kick start and a memorable experience for doctoral researchers. You will work in close collaboration with other colleagues.
