Description The accountant is responsible for managing the financial activities of a nonprofit organization, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable regulations and funding requirements. This role includes maintaining financial records, preparing budgets and financial reports, monitoring grants and supporting audits. The accountant ensures that all financial practices align with nonprofit accounting standards and helps leadership make informed financial decisions that support the organization’s mission.
