Systems Administrator Department: Information Technology: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Cumberland, RI: Description: The Systems Administrator is responsible for the reliability, security, and day-to-day operation of the company’s IT infrastructure. This role owns core systems including servers, identity, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, security-minded, and comfortable troubleshooting complex issues independently in a mixed on-prem and cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (on-prem and Azure) - Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Entra ID (Azure AD), Teams, and Intune - Provision and manage user accounts, permissions, groups, and access controls - Monitor system performance, availability, and security - Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes - Administer network services including firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN, and site-to-site connectivity - Patch, update, and harden systems according to best practices - Troubleshoot outages and complex technical issues across systems and networks - Work with vendors and...
