Job description
In cooperation with the Property Management Staff, the Accounting Administrator works to meet the accounting and administrative demands of the building management office. Duties and Responsibilities: Accounting Duties - Code and Input invoices in MRI, Yardi Voyager or similar Property Management Software - Input of Tenant receipts in MRI, Yardi Voyager or similar Property Management Software - Verify monthly rents and distribute rent statements - Prepare monthly closing reports, including cash verifications - Complete new vendor requests and set-ups - Compile monthly reports. Administrative: - Answer phone in a professional manner providing answers when possible and transferring calls or taking messages as needed - Open, stamp and distribute mail - Maintain tenant contacts lists - Maintain emergency contact lists - Maintain certificate of insurance files for tenants and vendors, tracking dates and coverages - Maintain lease and building files, create new files as needed - Process tenant amenity requests including fitness center membership, interior bike room use and exterior bike parking. - Prepare and send all outgoing mail and packages - Coordinating vendor after-hours access, ve...
