Job description

Position Overview The IT Asset Manager oversees the full lifecycle of IT hardware, software, and related assets to provide accurate visibility, cost control, and compliance in a federal IT environment. The role develops and executes asset management strategies covering acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and secure disposal while maintaining centralized inventories and configuration records using dedicated ITAM and discovery tools. The IT Asset Manager collaborates with procurement, finance, security, and operations teams to align asset decisions with budgeting, licensing, and risk requirements, using asset data and analytics to inform refresh plans, optimization opportunities, and audit responses.
