Production Supervisor - 12 Hours Days

Job description

Criteria: Qualifications: - Acquire knowledge and understanding of all production lines and formulations to adequately support production operations at the Cape Girardeau site - Provide leadership on the floor to help production employees receive, warehouse, distribute, and produce products within Verdesian Operations Safety: - Comply with prescribed safety procedures or federal laws regulating waste disposal methods - Conduct daily toolbox talks with entire staff and maintain safety standards - Maintain thorough knowledge of pertinent regulations governing property storage and management of hazardous materials, including solvents, flammables and chemicals - Maintain accurate records of safety procedures concerning lock-out/tag-out, confined space entry, etc. - Oversee plant safety program on the floor to ensure employees are working in a manner consistent with training, injury reporting, and assuring plant environment is accessible and safe for employees, customers, and public - Assure shift personnel are following all safety procedures at all times - Watch new personnel closely during their probationary periods to create a positive safety culture Quality: - Conduct and record lab...
