Other duties as assigned. - Position Summary - Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant positions in the Student Recreation Complex. - Start Date - Position available on or after September 18, 2025 and ending on or before May 29, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. - Job Description/Duties - Duties include but are not limited to: - Assist in maintaining one or more group fitness exercise classes during the fiscal year including exercise instruction and the distribution, re-organization, cleaning and care of equipment. - Assist in communicating regularly with professional staff on programs and with participants and clients according to their needs, schedules, and abilities. Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrates certification through a recognized professional organization (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NNSCA, or NASM). - Demonstrates prior experience within the past twelve months of leading group fitness classes. - Demonstrates knowledge and experience with a variety of Group Fitness classes. - It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent has CPR and First Aid certification. - Demonstrates knowledge...
