Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) Toledo, OH Opportunity! The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department in a long term care setting. This role assists with clinical leadership, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and resident centered care. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Director of Nursing with the overall management and supervision of nursing services - Support compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations and participate in survey readiness activities - Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs - Participate in admissions, discharges, care plan meetings, and interdisciplinary team conferences - Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition as needed - Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and staffing level assessments - Support quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives - Participate in staff education, competency validation, and performance improvement efforts - Assist with incident investigations, audit...
