Job Summary Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking to employ a Certified Physician Assistant in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery to join their employed physician group on the West Coast of Florida. The Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery practice includes a plastic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in craniofacial and microvascular reconstructive surgery and a team of clinical and administrative support staff. It is an established practice in high demand and is growing to meet the needs of the community. Clinical responsibilities will include patient management in the clinic, rounding/consults at the hospital and first assist in the operating room. Qualifications: - 40 hours a week; Flexible scheduling required. - Limb Salvage and Reconstruction of Extremities after Trauma or Cancer - Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy and Lumpectomy - Advanced Breast Reconstruction techniques including microsurgical DIEP flap - Vascularized bone grafts - Complex microsurgical reconstruction in patients of all ages, head-to-toe - Assists in the preoperative assessment and preparation of the necessary paperwork and orders for scheduled cases. - Performs wound checks, suture rem...
