Pay Range USD $16.00 - USD $17.50 /Hr. Overview: The Campus Safety Officer is responsible for providing campus safety services to the university community, which includes enforcing university regulations, vehicle and traffic laws, local, state and federal laws. Providing emergency response on campus and protecting life and property within the Clarkson community. In addition, the Campus Safety Officer/ Staff engage in outreach and communication efforts to women and/or underrepresented student groups on campus around issues of alcohol consumption, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment and bias-related conduct. General Purpose: Participate in a variety of safety and security activities on the Clarkson University campuses; conduct foot and vehicular patrols of the campuses, secure buildings, respond to emergencies, assist in traffic control and parking enforcement, confront violations of University Regulations, assist external law enforcement and/or public service agencies as required in campus related incidents.
