Job description

We are seeking an Anesthesia Technician to join the Wilmington, Delaware team! The Anesthesia Technician provides technical support to the anesthesia team in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia care to patients. This role involves assisting anesthesiologists, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals in the operating room (OR), as well as in other procedural areas. The technician is responsible for the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of anesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 10am-6:30pm, with eventual call Responsibilities: 1. Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: - Set up, calibrate, and ensure the functionality of anesthesia machines, monitors, ventilators, and other related equipment before procedures. - Perform routine checks and maintenance on anesthesia equipment to ensure safety and readiness. - Sterilize and prepare instruments and supplies needed for anesthesia, including airway management devices, syringes, and IV equipment. 2.
