Position Summary: The Machinist III will perform setup and operate equipment, such as but not limited to mills, lathes, mill/lathe combo machines, CO2 lasers, and press brakes. Follows blueprints, rough sketches, or engineer drawings to machine metal accurately, must inspect 1st part and continue written inspection process during production. Uses hand and power tools to smooth and finish edges and/or complete part. What You'll do as a Machinist III The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Required: Preferred: Other: - Perform all duties of a Machinist I and II. - Set up and operate 3-5 axis CNC machining equipment and maintain an 80% to 90% efficiency rate daily. - Operate two or more different types of machining centers. - Have the ability to run all machines/equipment within area assigned without help from higher level machinist. - Navigate NC’s of the machining centers being operated. - Interpret/edit program speeds, feeds, depths, spindle/tool and 5 axis orientations. - Execute F.A.I.R.
