This Opportunity WSP USA Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Inspector for the inspection of water distribution systems & treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems, pump stations and treatment facilities. The candidate will serve as a Construction Inspector to support our Construction management and Inspection services related to Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Projects in Washington DC. Your Impact: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Provide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes and maintain up-to-date project records. - Review Contractor submittals, requests for information, change order requests, and as-built drawings. - Measure and record pay items. - Attend job progress meeting. - Communicate conditions and field conflicts/changes to Owner. - Work closely with others team members, along with personnel from utilities, state, local, and federal agencies. - Demonstrate independent and effective problem solving/decision making.
