Perform paralegal duties involving residential loan servicing and default proceedings in compliance with outside counsel guidelines, applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to litigation and mortgage servicing. Responsible for supporting the Legal Department in managing litigation, contested proceedings, and legal issues related to mortgage servicing and lending. Ensure timely and appropriate actions in compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal laws, including mortgage servicing, lending and consumer protection regulations. Perform all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. As a government contractor this position has specific requirements including prior work experience in the mortgage banking industry as well as education and other experience requirements.
