Next Generation Flight Management System (NGFMS) Systems Engineer – Commercial Avionics Job Summary: The NGFMS Systems Engineer will support the development, integration, investigation, and certification of Next Generation Flight Management Systems (NGFMS) for commercial aircraft . This role requires a minimum of 5 years of Flight Management Systems experience , hands‑on work in integrated avionics lab environments , and strong familiarity with civil aviation standards and regulations . The engineer will play a key role in system issue investigation, validation of fixes, and ensuring compliance with commercial certification requirements. Key Responsibilities: FMS & NGFMS Development: · Support requirements definition, analysis, and validation for Flight Management Systems , with NGFMS experience preferred · Contribute to development and enhancement of: o Lateral and vertical flight planning o Performance‑Based Navigation (RNAV, RNP) o Trajectory management and optimization functions · Analyze FMS behavior, system interactions, and operational impacts of design changes Integrated Lab & Test Environment Support · Work extensively in integrated avionics lab environments (SIL, HIL, Iro...
