Job DetailsJob Location: Emory, VA 24327Position Type: Part Time StaffEducation Level: High SchoolJob Category: EducationThe Police Officer is primarily responsible for maintaining safety and security on school grounds by patrolling the area, responding to emergencies, investigating crimes, and working to prevent criminal activity, while also acting as a resource for students, staff, faculty and the wider community by fostering positive relationships and providing crime prevention education. Patrol: Conduct both foot and vehicle patrols of the campus. Make regular inspection tours of the campus facilities noting unusual occurrences. Observe and report hazardous conditions to management. Monitor parking lots and direct traffic and parking as necessary. Provide traffic and parking control with the writing and administration of citations. Safety & Emergency Response: Watch for trespassers, fire, water leaks, or other circumstances which could lead to loss or damage to property and equipment.
