Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides comprehensive support services for the preparation and delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment for chemistry teaching laboratories in accordance with laboratory preparation manuals. Coordinates stockroom window operations, including issuing and receiving equipment for students, and provides guidance and coordination to federal work study student assistants. Responsibilities: - Prepare chemicals and solutions according to laboratory manuals and safety protocols to ensure labs are fully equipped and compliant. - Distribute, set up, and retrieve laboratory materials between stockroom and teaching labs to support timely instruction. - Handle hazardous waste by ensuring proper labeling, collection, and storage in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. - Maintain lab readiness by performing minor repairs or coordinating maintenance of equipment and facilities. - Receive and process chemicals and supplies, verifying, documenting, and storing items according to established procedures. - Coordinate the stockroom service window by issuing and receiving equipment and maintaining accurate transaction records. - Track equipment u...
