Job description

Warehouse Services Summer Temp is responsible for working in a team environment, exercising good judgment, and providing support and supplies to the University for Special Events and moving various items for a wide variety of university departments. The Summer Temp should be able to assist with numerous moving and logistics projects, which include set-up of event material, moving furniture and/or warehouse materials. The Warehouse Services Summer Temp reports to the Director and Managers of Warehouse Services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities: Other: - Deliver items to and from Central Receiving and the 12th St. storage facility. - Assist other departments of the University in moving items from one area to another. - Perform office moves for various departments. - Deliver, set up and break down University Materials. - Deliver and move departmental items for the University. - Deliver and move office furniture for the University. - Set up and tear down convocation chairs and staging. - Clean and assist in routine maintenance of equipment.
