Boone Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Technician to support our Emergency Department team and play a vital role in patient care and departmental efficiency. Essential Functions: As an ER Technician, you will: Safely transport patients throughout the Emergency Department and hospital Assist with patient transfers between beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, and vehicles Support clinical staff by obtaining vital signs and assisting with EKG procedures Transport laboratory specimens and essential equipment Ensure transport equipment is clean, functional, and safe for use Provide compassionate support to patients and their families Help maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent: Previous healthcare or Emergency Department experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations Commitment to patient care and safety Certification Requirements: Basic Life Sup...
