Position Purpose: Our Produce Team Lead will execute day-to-day operations in the produce department and provide a memorable experience for all our customers. The Produce Team Lead will effectively direct and supervise all activities of the produce department and its personnel to achieve sales, profits and customer service goals established for the department. Responsibilities: A Produce Team Lead is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. A Produce Team Lead’s responsibilities include: Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period: Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending - Directing produce department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives. - Engaging with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions and active sampling and always giving a genuine thank you. - Communicating directly with the store team lead and produce specialist and director. - Ordering produces merchandise and supplies necessary to maintain adequate stoc...
