Residential Mental Health Worker I - Dedham 2600031Q Description T he Department of Mental Health Community Transition Program is seeking a conscientious individual to fill the role of Mental Health Worker I, within a residential program in Walpole, MA. Please note : This is a full time 40 hours per week position for 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm. Days off are Week 1 Sunday/ Wednesday and Week 2 Wednesday/Saturday Employees in this position will be required to work mandatory overtime. Duties and Responsibilities (these are a general summary and not all inclusive): - Provide direct care services to clients by supervising & instructing activities of daily living including but not limited to personal care, community integration, & recreation/leisure to ensure daily needs, rehab needs & human rights of clients are met. - Assist in development of client Individual Assessment Plans (IAPs) and complete progress notes and all related documentation. - Supervise and/or assist clients in self-medication by following specific instructions concerning appropriate medication & in accordance with specific instructions by licensed medical personnel/Medical Administration Program (MAP) policies & proce...
