.Job Summary: General Machinist/Tool and Die Associate assists all production areas in repairing and rebuilding machine break downs and building new assemblies. General Machinist/Tool and Die Associate maintains a Kanban for forging area, reface tooling and dies for the forging process. Reports to: Tool & Die Team Leader Qualifications: - Recent graduate of a Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program or Certificate of Qualification in Tool and Die - Strong mechanical skills - Strong ability to troubleshoot - Able to read and interpret blueprints - Knowledge of AutoCAD/computer aided design - Proactive in safety issues and able to follow through task to completion safely Musashi Expectations: Company Standards: - Uphold company policies. - Follow all safety procedures & instructions. - Actively involved in company and department goals. - Follow Musashi “5S” principles, quality, environmental, and health & safety systems. - Interact with all Musashi working peers in a respectful and pleasant manner.
