Assisted Living Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job description

We are looking for an experienced LPN to work for one of our external clients to work for their Assisted Living facility located in Staten Island, NY. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 8:00pm. In this role you will be responsible for responsible for providing medical treatment, first aid, emergency care and medications, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Required License/certification: - License and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York - Valid New York State Driver’s License and maintain it in good standing - CPR Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Provides health care to individuals receiving services as instructed by registered nurse. - Provides direct hygiene and health instruction to individuals receiving services and families as required. - Provides first aid to persons in need of immediate care, with referral to registered nurse or outside emergency services as necessary. - Interacts with a interdisciplinary team and is responsible for assisting Registered Nurse in coordinating following through on provisions of health care services for assigned residences. - Keeps progress notes under supervision of registered nur...
