Our office, Omega Endodontics in Newark, DE is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient experiences. Your Responsibilities: As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. - Verify patients' dental insurance coverage and benefits. - Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments. - Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs. - Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail. - Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes. - Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns. - Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services.
